about

Cassidy and I recorded this album in 2019, and then it fell between the couch cushions of the universe for a few years while some things happened. Every track is a simple live recording of one synthesizer and one human voice. Side A, "Songs from the Basement", is a song in three parts exploring the depths of one setting generated by Cassidy, a Casio CZ-101 synthesizer. Side B is some of our favorite little home recordings. There are secret tracks in there too, you'll find them when you do.
Thank you to everyone from The Basement, may its memory be a blessing. All my love to Hazel, Pixie, Riss, Robin, Ty, and the juggalo who I watched propose to his wife - I hope you are still in love.

- May <3
